The owner, Norma, was absolutely amazing. She went the extra mile to make my stay memorable and comfortable. She even came to my room in the morning to ensure I wouldn't be late for my run, and made sure I was well-fed and hydrated.
Felt great, no complaints.

The location of this hotel is very convenient for exploring the city as it is close to the city centre. Despite being situated in such a central location, there is no disturbance from any nearby noise. the rooms are well-equipped with a fridge, TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. the gardens are well-maintained and provide a peaceful environment to unwind.
The hotel lacks comfortable desk chairs, making it uncomfortable to spend longer periods working on a laptop.

La habitación tenía una terraza interior con una linda decoración. La cama era muy cómoda y el ambiente era tranquilo. La ubicación del hotel era cercana a los principales lugares turísticos y también había muchos bares y restaurantes cerca.
No pude encontrar ningún fallo.

The hotel had free parking which was great for the busy city. It was in a central location, close to many attractions and yet peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. It was great to have the essential facilities, like a kettle and hairdryer, provided in the room.
Although the hotel was being renovated, it did feel a bit outdated and in need of a refresh. The water pressure was low and the shower was not very powerful.

I was amazed by the exceptional hospitality and warm welcome we received during our stay at Westbourne Lodge. The proprietor, Norma, made us feel right at home with her friendly and accommodating nature. The guest house is ideally located, nestled in a peaceful area surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet just a short distance from the city center. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with all the necessary amenities provided. The added touch of hot water bottles for extra coziness was greatly appreciated. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our meals, giving us the flexibility and convenience we desired. Despite a few minor cosmetic issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Westbourne Lodge and would definitely return. I highly recommend this guest house for its great value, homely atmosphere, and wonderful service.
